New Addition to our Heavy Duty Fleet.

In February, we made a heavy duty addition to our fleet. The new truck is a Kenworth T-800 tandem axle tractor for pulling our heavy duty trailers. We've outfitted the truck with extreme duty brakes, all terrain tires, full LED emergency lighting, and a heavy duty head-rack for carrying chains, straps, wet/dry lines, and for mounting rear work and flood lighting. This Kenworth is Truck #15 and is our second tandem axle tractor for pulling trailers and equipment.

Below are a few pictures of the new truck...let us know what you think.

Taking Automotive Repair to the Next Level.

Vincent Service Station is proud to announce a new addition to our tool box. With a new J2534 automotive interface, we can now hook up directly to your car or truck with our laptops. Once connected, we can upload computer updates, manufacturer enhancements to your transmission, security system, or just diagnose and fix a bug in your car's electrical system. When cars are becoming more and more computer driven, so must we.

Vincent Garage on Facebook? You Bet.

Vincent Service Station, Inc. is now on Facebook. We've gotten some of the Vincent Garage drivers to start posting pictures and descriptions of some cool wrecks, tows, and recoveries. The sassy comments, they did on their own.

Winter is Here!

With the holidays just around the corner and temperatures falling as fast as interest rates, it's easy to forget about the tough months ahead. Winter is certainly upon us and it's coming whether you're ready for it or not. Don't let Old Man Winter catch you off guard!
The Vincent Garage family wants to offer a friendly reminder to take all the necessary precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of your fellow motorists. The tips below are simple and inexpensive ways to prepare yourself for a snowy and slippery winter!

- Keeping rock salt or gravel in your trunk can help you get out of a slippery rut once the fluffy white stuff starts to fall.
- Remember to top off all of your fluids before the temperature gets too low. Cold and dry engine operation can cause unncecessary wear on your motor!
- Keep a good ice scraper in your glove box or under your seat. Nothing is more dangerous than trying to see through an icy windshield.
- The most effective precaution is fitting your car or truck with a set of good all-season or snow tires. These can be easily replaced in the warmer months and stored until the following season.

Give us a call or e-mail us for more tips on how to better "winterize" your car or truck this year.

From the Vincent Garage family to yours, we hope you all have a happy, healthy and safe holiday season!

Hitting the Beach....in October?

Hey everyone,

Summer has finally gone and taken with it all that beach weather. But who says you can't go to the beach in October?

New York's Orchard Beach hosted its annual car and bike show on Sunday, October 4. And amidst all of the custom hot rods, muscle cars, choppers and restorations, a few red and white tow trucks managed to sneak their way into the show. Despite a rainy start to the day, a handful of respected towing and recovery companies from the NY-Metro area, including Vincent Garage, sent a few of their trucks to enter the show. After all, who'd let a little morning rain keep them from sausage and peppers, hot dogs, pretzels and oh yea, a sea of customized cars and trucks.

Thanks to the dedication of some of our heavy-duty drivers, Vincent Garage was able to enter three trucks from our fleet. Our experienced rotator operator, Gene and his son Anthony brought our 75-ton Rotator. Anthony Lunde a dedicated member of the Vincent Garage family brought his truck of choice, a 50-ton Kenworth. And last but certainly not least, our newest addition to the fleet, a 2009 Freightliner rollback, was brought to the show by our master driver Alvin.

Thanks,

The Vincent Garage Crew.
